This local website is full of relevant information and links to local charters if you are interested in catching fish when you aren’t at ICED.

Road Biking

There are a lot of biking opportunities in the SF Bay Area. The best way to pick a ride is to find a route posted online and follow that. Here's some good sites to look through:

Bay Area Bicycle Maps

511.org provides extensive information for getting around the Bay Area. In this subsection, they focus on biking, and provide links to downloadable bike maps for a number of Bay Area counties and cities as well as a bike mapper application (if it's working).

Ride Bike!

These 14 routes, specified out with variations for beginners and intermediate riders when possible, mostly start and end in the east bay, often from the Orinda BART area. From the Route Descriptions page, click on the title of the ride for the detailed route instructions.

SF Bay Area Bike Rides

Most of these rides (15 in total) are 40 to 60 miles long, and include some climbing. The rides are presented to highlight the best that the area has to offer. Longer or shorter loops can often be constructed to customize your ride. Two rides starting in Palo Alto are included.
